Full Album
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Sean Costello (1979-2008) was an extraordinary blues guitarist who at twenty-eight, when fateful he died of an accidental overdose, had already become a reference revered by musicians and fans in the blues music universe. No other guitarist since Mike Bloomfield, had had so much expressiveness and emotion in his music, his connection with the guitar was unpredictable and never before had a single note transmitted such emotionality and enthusiasm as a note played by Sean Costello with a guitar in his hands. This album contains 15 songs performed by Sean in any of his five studio recordings, performed by twenty-two different blues musicians throughout the ten years that this project has lasted. Under the Jon Justice and Dave Gross production, the album has been released in collaboration with Sean Costello Memorial Fund for Bipolar Research (Sean was a victim of a bipolar disorder), and can be purchased on the organization's website, thereby participating in the financing of the foundation. To thank and claim this fabulous work, as well as to the musicians who, with their selfless participation, have made the reality of this project possible. Above the music
