There are few bands like 11 Guys Quartet. Richard Rosenblatt, harmonica player and alma mater of Tone-Cool Records in the eighties and current president of Vizztone Label, began the history of this band in the mid 80's as 11th Hour Band with Paul Lenard, Bill Mather and Chuck Purro and together they recorded in 1985 the album "Hot Time In The Ciy Tonight" as premiere of Tone-Cool... So far the first part of the history. They didn't meet again until 2008 to record all the songs contained in this album, now as 11 Guys Quartet on the cover. Fourteen instrumentals in defense of pure blues, fourteen unpolished gems played by impeccable and fervent musicians who don't need no individual role to make us share his love for blues music. Undoubtedly the first shot on target of Vizztone for this brand new year.
