From Finland, Wentus Blues Band are the best known blues band inside and outside the Nordic country. Formed in 1986, their prolonged early years warmed up like a back band of American bluesman landing in Europe. As a touring band, they spend more than half of the year playing live, they have recorded more than a dozen albums, and at the beginning of 2019 they went to Duke Robillard's studios to record this album. With Robillard's full involvement in the project, the result is a collection of songs that could well be attributed to any north american band.
