Ben Levin credits his influences in the names of Professor Longhair, Pinetop Perkins, Otis Spann, and Ray Charles. Well, maybe that's all he needs to be the most credited young pianist on the blues scene today. From the hand of his father, guitarist Aron Levin who also plays on his recordings, he started as a professional with the album "Ben's Blues" in 2017 and from then until today he has released an album every year. Full recognition came to him with "Carryout Or Delivery" (2020), a work in capital letters showing himself as an exceptional pianist and above all a blues artist with a classic structure brought up to date with songs and arrangements as elegant as they are innovative. Ben Levin is part of the future of this music, his youth is no palliative of creative maturity and interpretative solidity, which makes it foresee that his figure will be indispensable to make a reading of the genre in the years to come. Their latest work "Take Your Time" features collaborations as the Chicago blues legend Bob Stroger and Louisiana Admiral Lil' Jimmy Reed as well as the renowned Jimmy Burgin and Lil' Ed Williams, all of whom give even more consistency to the mastery of Ben Levin as a pianist who, at the age of 22, places this album at the top of the firmament of contemporary blues.

Ben decided that the piano would be his life when at the age of six he saw the biopic "Ray" about Ray Charles.

Ben's first festival appearance was at the Cincy Blues Fest at age 13. By age 15 he was the full-time pianist in his father's band.

At 17 Ben self-released his debut CD, Ben’s Blues

(Go To Ben's Site)

In 2019 he released the first of his four albums for Vizztone Label to date. One every year.

In 2020 he was nominated for Best Emerging Artist Album at the 41st edition of the BMAs, as a preview of what is to come in the future.

He performed for the first time outside the United States in 2017 participating in the Festival International de Boogie Woogie in LaRoquebrou, France.
