Tab Benoit and Whiskey Bayou Records have managed to consolidate their own brand in their productions and the artists in their catalog respond to a common pattern that determines their particular way of understanding blues music in this century. The guitars of Alastair Greene, JP Soars, Damon Fowler, Eric McFadden or Eric Johanson have starred in the most notable successes of the Louisiana label and now we must add the name of Anthony Rosano. Born in New York and based in Norfolk (VA), this guitarist has spent the last ten years playing with his band The Conqueroos all over the States and with whom he has recorded three albums, one of them live. His worth has trespassed the smallest blues circles and he has gone on to visit the Billboard and I-Tunes charts achieving complacent status, even reaching two IBC finals. His second studio album released in 2017 was produced by Mike Zito who also played guitar along with other guests such as Johnny Sansone and Anders Osborne.
