Early adventure...

Anthony Geraci has made a blues piano masterpiece. He turns all the chords he plays into gold. Born in 1954, Geraci is the contemporary blues keyboardist par excellence, he shared stages with Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Otis Rush and Big Joe Turner among many others. He began his career as an artist in the mid-seventies and soon his piano playing was aligned with musicians such as Jerry Portnoy and Bob Margolin, both of whom were in Muddy Waters' band. In Boston, Mudcat Ward and Ronnie Earl joined Geraci to perform live and shortly after Sugar Ray Norcia appeared and with them formed the Blue Tones, an unrepeatable line-up until Earl left the band to join Roomful Of Blues. With Sugar Ray and The Blue Tones, Geraci has recorded ten albums. When Earl began his solo career in 1984, he founded The Broadcasters with Anthony in the original lineup and it was not until 2005 that he released his first album by his own, "The Gift." This keyboardist's professional career has also been omnipresent as a session musician as well as supporting a large number of top blues artists in concerts and tours around the world. There is no doubt that Anthony Geraci is an indispensable and unrepeatable musician in the blues music scene of the last four decades, not only for his magnificence as a keyboardist - piano and organ - but also for his contribution to a large extent to keeping this musical genre within of canons of strict interpretive solidity and to reach consensus and solidify a core of artists with an admirable level of excellence. Few blues musicians have a backgroud as complete and decisive as Geraci and with this album "Teras In My Eyes" corroborates his songwriting and interpretive lucidity, surrounded by impeccable musicians - Barret Anderson on guitar and Drew Davis on sax are on top - that contribute to making this studio work one of the most indescribable albums of recent years. Without a doubt, another masterpiece.

JUST LET HIM PLAY AND LISTEN !
