Each song has the best voice to be sung. Magic doesn't always happen and sometimes great songs are lost because of it. Born in Colinsville, IL, Al Holliday writes songs and he has the unique and best voice to sing them. Established in St. Louis together with his band The East Side Rhythm Band, Holliday puts us on alert and makes us reflect on the situation of diachrony that lives today in the United States. Problems of uprooting, marginality, misunderstanding and turbulence that a large pool of working class people and a growing bunch that are below the minimum limits of dignity, are involuntary victims of injustice. "All I Want" is the album that contains all that explicit background. Holliday uses music to explain it, soul wails, blues chords, funky beats, a band of extraordinary musicians, amazing wind arrangements and limitless vocal rawness. All of this makes this album and these musicians an extremely essential proposal.
